Audience Laughs At Melania’s Desperate Insistence That Donald Has ‘Empathy’

Melania Trump told military moms to their faces that her husband, Donald Trump, has empathy for their children in uniform, drawing laughs at the absurdity of her claim.

As Mother’s Day weekend approaches, the Trumps decided to host an event for military moms, during which Melania tried to convince them that her husband has empathy for the servicemen and women who risk injury or death complying with his orders.

“Most know my husband as the strong commander-in-chief, but his empathy transcends the role and shape of a caring leader, who constantly remembers each and every American soldier is someone’s child,” Melania said.

Except the audience damn well knows better, which is why they burst out laughing in response.

Donald Trump doesn’t even know what empathy is, and he certainly can’t feel it for others. He has referred to dead American soldiers as “suckers and losers.” He has ordered the military to commit war crimes. He even got at least 13 soldiers killed and hundreds wounded after attacking Iran unprovoked.

Trump is also the complete opposite of a “strong” commander-in-chief. He’s weak and unstable, often falling asleep during briefings and lying his ass off about what’s really going on in a war that we supposedly “won” months ago. Yet, more troops continue to be sent to the Middle East, and the Strait of Hormuz continues to be closed.

Trump is indecisive and panicky, and his aides often have to keep him out of the room so he doesn’t make situations worse. He doesn’t care about the lives of our troops. He only cares about using them as pawns to enrich himself.

Insisting that Trump is strong and has empathy for others was an embarrassing failure. Instead of cheers, Melania’s statement drew laughter. It’s just another moment of humiliation for a coward who repeatedly dodged the draft during the Vietnam War.
