Despite literally demanding and begging the Norwegian Nobel Committee to hand him the Nobel Peace Prize, Donald Trump once again lost to someone far more worthy. And she threw some shade at him in response to winning it.
Trump has repeatedly insisted that he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. After all, President Obama has one, so he needs one, too. He’s falsely claimed to have ended multiple conflicts, all while starting conflicts in Venezuela and Iran, and creating a goon squad to kill Americans here at home.
In his desperation to get the award, Trump has threatened the committee and even accepted the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize that the actual winner gave him second-hand, something that is not allowed because the winner of the prize cannot award it to someone else. Trump did not earn it, and the record will reflect that fact for all time.
It’s now 2026, and despite his needy campaigning for the award, the Nobel Committee once again chose to honor someone more deserving: South African jurist, International Criminal Court judge, and United Nations Human Rights chief Navanethem “Navi” Pillay.
The 85-year-old Pillay was informed of her selection by the committee at the Nuremberg court in Germany, a fitting location considering Trump’s attempt to transform America into a Nazi state. Nuremberg is where the Allies tried Nazis for their crimes against humanity.
Pillay reacted to winning the award by taking a swipe at Trump’s campaign for it and his acceptance of a second-hand prize last year.
“If you clap a little bit more, I may share this prize with Trump,” she quipped.
Trump has been selfishly lobbying for the Nobel Peace Prize for years now, and has been humiliated every single time. This award is for those who deserve it, not a wannabe dictator who starts unprovoked wars, assaults civil rights, and literally tries to install full-blown fascism across the land.
He’s a loser. He’ll always be a loser. And he knows it.
