Elon Musk Gets His A** Handed To Him By Zohran Mamdani

New York City Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani has begun nominating his picks to serve as city officials, and Elon Musk is apparently throwing a hissy fit over it.

On Friday, Mamdani selected Lillian Bonsignore, a 30-year veteran of Emergency Medical Services, to be the new leader of the New York City Fire Department. Musk, who does not reside in New York City, immediately had an opinion, which he shared on social media.

Again, Bonsignore may not be a firefighter, but she has 30 years of experience with Emergency Medical Services. The fire department not only puts out fires, but they also respond to medical emergencies. Bonsignore has experience, unlike Musk, whom Donald Trump put in charge of an illegal government body known as DOGE.

Trump has also appointed several Cabinet members who have zero experience with the departments they were chosen to lead, including Robert Kennedy Jr at Health and Human Services, Linda McMahon in Education, Kristi Noem at Homeland Security, and this 22-year old in a terrorism prevention role. Seriously.

And that’s only a few of the unqualified people Trump has put in charge of our nation’s government agencies. Of course, I don’t recall Musk sounding the alarm about any of these choices. Yet he hypocritically has the gall to criticize Mamdani for picking Bonsignore, who has 30 years of experience in EMS.

Mamdani fired back at Musk by noting Bonsignore’s experience.

Elon Musk lives in Texas. There are about 1,300 miles between him and NYC, so why is he so concerned about who Mamdani picks to head city departments? I mean, besides his obvious racism toward Mamdani, of course.

Again, Musk said nothing as Trump repeatedly installed inexperienced nominees in his Cabinet. Musk himself even had zero business being involved in government, given his own inexperience, which is arguably even worse than anyone Trump has chosen. It’s time to tax billionaires like Musk, especially if they can’t keep their mouths shut about things they don’t understand.
