Hannity Delivers Vomit-Inducing Lindsey Graham Eulogy By Making It About Trump

Congregated in their own safe space in Washington National Cathedral on Tuesday, MAGA eulogized Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), with Fox News host Sean Hannity delivering a speech that was less about Graham and more about slathering over Donald Trump.

Graham died two weeks ago, and Americans were quick to make it clear just how the overwhelming majority of them thinks of him, outraging right-wingers by giving them a glimpse into what they can expect when they finally kick the bucket.

On Tuesday, MAGA gathered to eulogize Graham by presenting him as a role model of humanity and using his death as a call to action to pursue even more suffering in the United States and around the globe. But some speakers used their time to make Graham’s funeral about Trump.

Sean Hannity’s speech was particularly nauseating as he imagined that Graham is living even more lavishly in heaven than Trump is trying to live here on Earth, and even had the gall to say that Graham considered Trump his “dearest friend” instead of the late Senator John McCain, thus completing Graham’s betrayal of his friend.

“Lindsey probably has a heavenly version of Mar-a-Lago. It may even be a little bigger,” Hannity said. “He may have a little more gold in the Oval Office in his mansion in heaven. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he added one big beautiful ballroom and an arch somewhere on the property. Because you would wanna obviously duplicate his dearest friend in life, you, Mr. President.”

You would be forgiven if you had to step away for a moment to kneel before the porcelain deity. Hannity’s use of a eulogy that is supposed to honor Graham to stroke Trump’s fragile ego is quite sickening. Sadly, the whole event seemed to revolve around kissing Trump’s ass instead of focusing on Graham.

It was only earlier in the day that Trump delivered more accurate remarks about Graham on Fox News by reminding everyone that Graham was a bloodthirsty warmonger.

Hannity’s eulogy of Graham reminds everyone that MAGA is a cult and that your life only matters if it serves the purpose of the cult leader. And even then, it doesn’t matter.
