You would think that a national security expert who is a fan of Donald Trump would unquestionably support the war Trump started in Iran over the weekend. Instead, David Pyne is ripping him for it and says it’s definitely an “impeachable offense.”
Ever since Trump allowed Israeli dictator Benjamin Netanyahu to take control of American military decisions on Saturday, the Epstein Administration has trotted out excuse after excuse to justify the unprovoked attack that has since resulted in the deaths of six American service members.
None of the excuses holds water, and it seems as though the GOP is splintering over the unconstitutional attack. The nation simply does not have a thirst for more wars in the Middle East, especially as disturbing news comes to light of military commanders pushing the war as a holy war, and that Trump was “anointed by Jesus” to bring about the apocalypse.
Even a national security analyst who is one of Trump’s biggest fans ripped him a new one for it on Tuesday in a lengthy social media post.
“As his hopes for a quick war have been dashed by Iran’s refusal to stop fighting after the US foolishly turned their supreme political and religious leader into a martyr, Trump is reportedly considering sending in US Special Forces into Iran along with Kurdish militia forces,” Pyne wrote. “Trump is now planning to invade a country that is nearly four times larger than Iraq with twice as many people.”
Indeed, Iran has at least one million military personnel. They also have a large armored force and the largest missile arsenal in the region. It would be foolish to think our military can waltz in and take over without taking a lot of casualties in the process. Furthermore, regime change did not work in Iraq, it didn’t work in Afghanistan, and it won’t work in Iran.
If anything, we’ve given younger generations of Iranians reason to hate us, especially since the first strike against Iran murdered 165 girls while they were in school.
“I’m guessing that Trump didn’t fully think through the likely outcomes of his Iran forever war folly before he made the rash decision to start the biggest regional war in the Middle East in thirty-five years,” Pyne continued. “President Donald Trump is subordinating the US military to Israel to further its expansionary designs against Iran rather than advance US national security interests, risking the lives of millions of Americans for no good reason in the process. This is an impeachable offense!”
Frankly, our country does not have time to wait for impeachment, something Republicans will block anyway because they have no spines. The people need to oust him now. Because Trump not only has no problem with raping our kids, but he has no problem sending them off to die in a war, either.
