Sore Loser Susan Collins Lashes Out At Voters For Booting Her Out Of The Senate

Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine) will no longer be serving in Congress after her current term ends in January because Maine voters rejected her in favor of Democratic opponent Troy Jackson. Now she’s lashing out at the voters like a sore loser.

Collins refused to deliver a concession speech after suffering a humiliating seven-point defeat to Jackson on Tuesday night. It’s a huge win for Maine and an even bigger victory for the country, not to mention the millions of women Collins has been throwing under the bus for years by supporting Donald Trump.

After all, Collins has voted for Trump’s demands despite being critical of them, trying to play both sides until she reveals her true self when it’s time for her to cast her vote in the Senate. That includes when she voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, even though she knew damn well that he would likely rule to overturn Roe v. Wade, which he would do soon after taking his place on the bench.

Her entire tenure in the Senate is marked by her constant votes against Maine’s best interests and common decency. Voters finally had enough and sent her packing. But instead of bowing out gracefully, the old woman threw a Trumpian temper tantrum in which she lashed out at voters as if they were supposed to be grateful for her service and as if she were entitled to the Senate seat.

“I was caught up in the Trump tsunami that swept away many incumbent Republican senators who have served their states well for many years and really care about our country,” Collins told the New York Times.

No, you served with traitors who did nothing to stop Trump’s un-American behavior and destruction of our nation from within. You are also one of them, so don’t pretend your hands are clean. Collins had multiple chances to grow a spine and stand up to Trump, and she chose cowardice and subservience every time.

“Everybody ignores the fact that I voted to convict him in the second impeachment trial,” Collins continued, whining. “What bigger break could there be? It is never enough. I want results, and they want angry rhetoric.”

Trump was already on his way out during that second impeachment at the end of his first term. That’s not courage, Senator. You went right back to kissing Trump’s a** as soon as he was back in the White House. No matter how repugnant his behavior or words, no matter how much voters opposed his demands, you caved.

Now you’re paying the price for it, which you should have paid years ago. As Troy Jackson told you during a debate during the campaign, shut up. Also, good riddance.
