A “No Kings” protest near Mar-a-Lago in Florida turned violent when a Trump supporter assaulted a peaceful protester, only for the perpetrator to tuck his tail between his legs and run once the police showed up.
As thousands of anti-Trump protesters marched during the “No Kings” event near Trump’s resort, only a dozen or so of his own fans bothered to show up to stage a counter-protest. Of course, being the pathetic snowflakes they are, one of the Trump supporters decided to take out his frustrations of having his fragile fee-fees hurt by screaming at the “No Kings” protesters.
The Trump supporter then assaulted a woman who was filming him and his behavior. Witnesses say the police were informed, and the perpetrator ran away from the scene as they gave chase.
MS NOW White House correspondent Jake Traylor was on the scene at the time and later relayed the story on the air, speaking to a witness named Michael, who described what happened.
“These two gentlemen were yelling and screaming at a bunch of us, and our side was remaining completely quiet, wasn’t even responding,” Michael said. “And a young woman started taking pictures of him with her camera, and one of the guys walked over and, it looked like it was an open fist, actually, like, took such a swing, knocked the camera out of her hands, and I believe it actually cracked.”
“I ran over around to the parking lot,” Michael continued. “There was about a dozen cops hanging out, and I said, ‘There’s an assault in progress,’ and they all came running.”
Michael told Traylor that the Trump supporter ran away upon seeing the police come for him. You know, because Trump supporters are cowards who think the law shouldn’t apply to them.
With millions of Americans participating in “No Kings” events this weekend, this will likely not be the only such story of violence from Trump supporters. After all, Trump himself has repeatedly given his supporters permission to be violent, resulting in protesters being murdered in Minnesota. Ending this violence means holding Trump and his supporters accountable.
