Trump Brags About Americans Suffering High Gas Prices Because His Rich Oil Buddies Are Profiting

Donald Trump openly bragged about his wealthy oil buddies “making a fortune” on high gas prices while once again proclaiming that he doesn’t care about Americans suffering financially.

Trump has already admitted that he doesn’t care about the high gas prices caused by his unprovoked war with Iran and the subsequent closing of the Strait of Hormuz. In fact, he doesn’t care about Americans struggling with their finances at all.

He doesn’t care because he and his family are personally profiting off the financial suffering of the American people. And he repeated it on Sunday during a rally in Georgia, as the price of fuel currently stands nearly double what it cost before the war: $4.25 per gallon for regular, and diesel is currently $6.35.

“I can see just the fake headlines — ‘President Trump is talking about all the money they’re making while people are suffering at the pump,'” Trump said. “We’re making money like we’ve never made before. They’ll say: President Trump is bragging about all the money they’re making while people are suffering at the pump. I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune.”

The price of gas has had a significant negative impact on the economy, as grocery prices have risen despite Trump’s 2024 campaign promise to lower them on day one. It’s also driving inflation higher than it was during the Biden administration.

This is a damning admission by Trump just a week away from the midterm elections, at a time when Republicans are staring down the barrel of a blowout loss that could cost them the House and the Senate, as well as several governor and down-ballot races.

Only the most die-hard, poorly educated Trump voters can stand there and listen to Trump talk this way and think it’s a good thing. Americans should not be suffering so that he and his billionaire friends can “make a fortune.” American troops have been killed. American bases have been destroyed. Our missile supply has been depleted. And our reputation around the world is in tatters.

High gas prices and American suffering are NOT something to brag about. It’s something that should cause a bloody revolution and total change in political leadership.
