GOP Senator Mike Lee And Elon Musk Call For Execution Of House Democrat

As Donald Trump’s ICE Gestapo continues to violate constitutional rights and wage violence in Minneapolis, Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) and billionaire douchebag Elon Musk are calling for executing the Democrat who represents the city in Congress.

While delivering passionate remarks during a Democratic gathering in St. Paul over the weekend, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) slammed Trump and ICE for unleashing fascism in the country.

“I don’t want to curse, but those of us who escaped places like that, the one place where we thought we would never experience this is the U.S. [sic] goddamn states,” Omar said. “And we should all be ashamed that it is the United States that is allowing for this to take place, and it is being… broadcast to the rest of the world, where people are calling and saying, ‘Are you sure this is America?’ I am ashamed, and we must do everything that we can to bring back the America we all escaped into.”

Indeed, many immigrants like Omar came to this country to escape political violence and authoritarianism. But rather than support Omar, Senator Mike Lee doubled down on the fascism by demanding Omar be punished for exercising her freedom of speech.

This one is easy. There should be NO consequences because Omar was exercising her constitutional right to speak freely, which includes her opinion of the United goddamn States. However, it wasn’t just Lee. Elon Musk chimed in by calling for the same punishment as treason, which includes death.

Rather than push back against Musk, Lee agreed in response.

Again, there is NO law against what Omar said. She exercised her free speech, and now Lee and Musk want her dead for it. That sounds like a direct threat against the life of a sitting member of Congress. It’s also hypocrisy considering Donald Trump literally flipped off an autoworker last week for exercising his own freedom of speech. Lee and Musk apparently had no problem with such an unpresidential gesture toward an American worker.

This isn’t the first time Musk has called for killing people for exercising their right to free speech, either. He recently called for killing teachers who teach the darker chapters of American history.

Omar was right about the current state of our country, and Lee and Musk proved her right by calling for her execution because they reacted exactly the way fascists do.
