A UFC fighter publicly slandered former First Lady Michelle Obama during Donald Trump’s birthday event on the White House lawn on Sunday. And Trump clearly approved by smirking in response.
Trump has continuously attacked former President Barack Obama and his wife for more than a decade now, most recently by posting a video depicting the Obamas as monkeys. It was an act of racism so vile that the backlash forced Trump to make pathetic excuses before he finally deleted it.
On Sunday, Trump’s favorite UFC fighter and MAGA moron Joshua Hokit proceeded to slander Michelle Obama in remarks made in the ring after his cage match.
“Michelle Obama is a man! Am I right, America?” Hokit said as Joe Rogan just stood there letting it happen.
Trump was caught smiling in response to the slanderous remark.
“In a brief moment captured on camera, Trump, seated first row at the ‘Octagon,’ appeared to show a half-smile seconds after the false remark, which has previously circulated online,” according to a CNN report.
The Obamas have not been in the White House since January 2017, yet Trump and his supporters continue to attack them with vile lies and racism. Not only should Hokit face punishment from UFC for his slanderous remark, but Michelle Obama should also file a civil lawsuit against him for defamation.
This a**hole should have a target on his back, both in public and in every future cage match he participates in. The White House won’t even denounce it despite how much hyperventilating they do when Melania Trump is called a “hooker.”
Hokit’s remark was met with a mixture of cheers and boos, but Trump’s smirk in response says everything we need to know. He sanctioned this. He approved of this. And there should absolutely be consequences for everyone involved.
