Billionaire twat-waffle Elon Musk went full racist in a social media post attacking the Minnesota 5th District on Monday, drawing a fiery response from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).
The right wing has frequently targeted Omar and her Minnesota district ever since she was first elected to Congress in 2018. For seven years, Omar has fought for working families, all while Republicans spew racist attacks and threats against her.
On Monday, Elon Musk continued the racist tirade by accusing Minnesota, where Donald Trump’s Gestapo ICE agents are currently waging an illegal door-to-door campaign of terror, of transporting Somali migrants into the state to vote for Democrats, more specifically Omar.
However, Somalis make up only 3 percent of the population in Minnesota, and Omar won 78 percent of the vote, easily defeating her Republican opponent. Omar did not hold back in her response.
“You are one of the dumbest people on earth,” Omar wrote. “My district is literally a majority white district. Your conspiracy theories are laughable and should have no place in a society that cares about facts.”
Indeed, Omar’s Minnesota district has a 60 percent white majority population, according to Census data. And, again, the Somali population is so small that it doesn’t have nearly as much impact as Republicans are trying to scaremonger everyone else into thinking it does. It’s a non-existent problem. Omar won her seat in 2018 with 78 percent of the vote. She won with 64 percent of the vote in 2020. She won again in 2022 with 74 percent of the vote. Most recently, she won again in 2024 with 74 percent of the vote.
It is simply ridiculous to believe that white voters somehow didn’t play a major role in electing Omar four consecutive times to represent them in Congress. There’s no election fraud here. Only racism from Musk, a South African immigrant whom Trump literally has credited with helping him rig the 2024 Election.
