Former MAGA House Rep Stands Up For Ilhan Omar Against Trump

As Donald Trump and his ICE Gestapo persecute Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is coming to her defense on social media.

Republicans are heavily projected to lose the House to Democrats in November, causing Trump to panic. So, he’s now resorting to abusing his power to target a member of Congress who has been one of the loudest voices against his tyranny.

Trump apparently directed ICE to conduct a raid on Rep. Omar’s home and offices this week in a desperate operation to find any shred of evidence they can use as an excuse to strip her of her American citizenship and deport her.

Omar has lived in the United States since childhood, when her family moved here to escape Somalia. She’s been a citizen for decades, and there’s no evidence that she personally committed any type of fraud or crime to become one.

It’s a witch hunt. It’s blatant persecution. And even former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who once supported Trump and his agenda, is calling it out.

“Me and Ilhan Omar are far apart policy wise. I’m pro life, she’s pro abortion. I’m pro 2A, she’s pro gun control,” Greene wrote. “But can someone tell me how pretending to get ready to deport Ilhan Omar is going to bring gas down under $2, make health insurance freaking affordable, make a family’s weekly grocery bill make sense, and stop sending our beloved military off to fight for another fucking foreign war???”

“People are so sick and tired of the bullshit,” she continued. “When you dumb mf’ers at the WH actually release the Epstein files and lock up the pedophiles and rapists you all hang out with, then we will start paying attention.”

Greene concluded her post with a middle finger emoji presumably directed at Trump and his Gestapo goons.

Omar’s office released a statement condemning the raid as an act of political intimidation and abuse of power.

This raid is overt fascism. And we can assume that Trump’s Gestapo is going to manufacture “evidence” against Omar. Frankly, if any Republicans don’t see a problem with this, they should keep in mind that Trump won’t be in office forever, and the next Democrat in the White House could direct federal law enforcement to raid their homes and offices at will.

Of course, while they may be safe from deportation, their association with pedophiles means anything found on their computers could be used to send them to prison for a very long time.
