A Republican aide faces child sex-trafficking charges in Alaska after a hero mom ran inside his residence and punched him in the face to save her child.
As the GOP continues to cover up the Epstein files for Donald Trump, the top Republican staffer to Alaska state Senator George Rauscher got caught luring a minor to his home. Craig Scott Valdez is Rauscher’s chief of staff. Well, at least he was until he got arrested by Anchorage police and charged with child sex trafficking.
According to Alaska News Source KTUU,
“Valdez arranged via Snapchat to pick up a juvenile from their family’s residence and brought them by car to his home on Endicott Street in Anchorage — to sexually exploit the minor on his birthday.
The minor’s sibling alerted their mother, who used a family tracking app to locate the juvenile at Valdez’s residence. When she arrived, she heard the minor inside say they wanted to go home. The mother entered the residence, struck Valdez once in the face and recovered the minor, who exhibited signs of extreme drug or alcohol intoxication and had difficulty walking and maintaining consciousness, court documents say.
Anchorage Police Department officers responded shortly after — at which point Valdez, court documents say, “puzzlingly” fled his own home.”
Thwarted by the child’s mother, Valdez was indicted by a federal grand jury on Friday and is believed to have targeted multiple children via social media. Valdez immediately lost his job, and Senator Rauscher released a statement condemning his former top staffer.
“I was informed today of the arrest of a member of my staff in a federal investigation involving extremely serious charges,” Rauscher said. “I learned of this matter after law enforcement action was taken and then from the press. I trust the Department of Justice to handle this appropriately. This is a shock to my office. The employee was terminated. I do not have anything more to say, other than we need the justice system to take its course as the process continues.”
Of course, we really can’t and shouldn’t trust the Department of Justice to handle this case. The DOJ has made it abundantly clear that they do not care about victims as long as the perpetrator is a Republican. As we all know, Attorney General Pam Bondi would rather point out how high the Dow is instead of doing her job to hold Republicans like Trump accountable for child sex trafficking, rape, and pedophilia.
Clearly, we must do what this mom did to save her child if we want justice for victims. If the DOJ won’t do it, we should take the law into our own hands. The lives of children depend on it.
