His daddy has been president again for nearly a year now, and yet Eric Trump is still really, super duper, BIG upset with Joe Biden, and he wants us all to know about it.
Donald Trump’s second son, Eric, who clearly has yet to get over his severe Middle Child Syndrome, sat for an interview with Newsmax this week, in which the First Son went off on what can only be described as an absolutely unhinged and particularly long-winded crashout about what he claims is the blatant and inappropriate political applications of the United States justice system by basically all of the country’s successive federal governments except, of course, his daddy’s.
The 41-year-old Trump spawn ranted and raged about basically everything, ranging from the infamous 2022 FBI raid at his father’s Mar-a-Lago luxury golf resort to his truly bizarre claim that mean old Joe Biden tried to break up his daddy and step-mommy.
The interview, with Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt, first kicked off with Trump’s reaction to the indictment that dropped this week against former FBI director James Comey, who spearheaded both the infamous investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal as well as the notorious alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Schmitt then took a moment to air audio of Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer, in which the lawmaker stated that Donald Trump has “turned this Justice Department into his own political watchdog. It’s horrible. No president has done this. This is what autocrats do.”
Following the audio clip, Eric Trump was visibly worked up into an absolute tizzy, as he shot back, “You don’t understand how humorous this is,” before proceeding to rattle off what felt like an absolutely endless list of all of the transgressions and mistreatments that have been perpetrated at the hands of the US justice system against his pure and innocent family.
Eric first described himself as “a perfect role model” and a “perfect model citizen,” with his whole chest and not an ounce of irony to be found, before claiming that federal authorities “came after me like I was a dog.”
And that’s when ole Eric got started and apparently just could not stop:
They tried to impeach my father two times. They went after him for a Russia hoax that did not exist that was paid for by Hillary Clinton. The FBI and DOJ spied on my father’s campaign. They de-platformed him. They weaponized every attorney general and every district attorney around the country. They indicted him 91 times – 34 times in a bogus trial in New York City. They posted his mugshot. He’s the most recognisable person in the world. They posted his mugshot even though they didn’t need to, which totally backfired on him [Biden]. They gagged him over and over and over.
They raided his home. They raided Mar-a-Lago. They tried to get him divorced, they tried to separate our family. They tried to go after our employees. They attacked us. They tried to bankrupt our company. They de-platformed us, they stripped every bank account away from me and the Trump Organization that you can imagine, and Merrick Garland was at the forefront of all of it, and Joe Biden was at the forefront of all of it when they raided our home, when they raided Mar-a-Lago, when they raided Melania’s closet. When they raided 16-year-old Barron’s room.”
He screeched, “And I get to hear from Chuck Schumer that my father weaponized justice? You must be kidding me,” as I wholly prepared for one single, lone tear to drip down his “model citizen” face.
Of course, he didn’t miss his chance to also shamelessly plug his new book while simultaneously touting his daddy’s presidency as “the greatest political movement in history” before wrapping it all up with the bold claim that Democrats are solely responsible for two of the attempted assassinations against his father.
