Trump Brings Back Firing Squads For Executions

In a move that could backfire if Democrats grow a spine and prosecute him for treason, Donald Trump and his cronies in the Department of Justice are bringing back firing squads as a form of execution.

Since Trump’s personal lawyer, Todd Blanche, took over control of the DOJ following the ouster of Pam Bondi, his agenda to weaponize the agency has been kicked into an even higher gear. Blanche refuses to release any more Epstein files in violation of a law passed by Congress last year, making it even clearer that the remaining files harbor damning evidence against Trump.

Blanche is also overseeing the targeting of Trump’s political enemies, even indicting the Southern Poverty Law Center on bullsh*t charges to punish the organization for taking down white supremacists and KKK groups.

In the latest move favored by wannabe dictators, Trump and Blanche are now moving to reinstate firing squads as a death penalty option.

“Among the actions taken are readopting the lethal injection protocol utilized during ​the first Trump Administration, expanding the protocol to include additional manners of ​execution such as the firing squad, and streamlining internal processes to expedite death penalty cases,” Blanche wrote in an announcement.

Firing squads are a brutal form of execution that the federal government abandoned decades ago. Alarmingly, Trump is also greenlighting electrocution and gas chambers for executions as well, setting the stage for mass executions when Trump decides that outright murdering his enemies is more efficient than threatening them.

It’s certainly a slippery slope that every American should be concerned about, considering ICE is out there executing protesters in the street and Trump is still demanding persecution of his political rivals and musing about using the military against civilians.

But now that the firing squad is back, it should be noted that treason is punishable by death, and Trump has committed all sorts of treasonous acts while in office. Democrats need to stop playing games and start dealing harshly with traitors. I prefer hangings, but the firing squad will do in a pinch. Hell, let’s televise it so Trump can finally get the crowd size he’s always dreamed of.
