Kash Patel Letter Reveals He Has History Of Drunken Behavior

The current FBI Director, Kash Patel, apparently has a long history of drunken behavior, according to a disclosure he made to the Florida Bar. So, the United States has an alcoholic at the top of the FBI and as the Secretary of Defense.

Patel’s drunken behavior was first flagged during the 2026 Winter Olympic Games when he personally engaged in drinking alcohol while celebrating in the locker room with the Team USA Men’s Hockey team after their gold medal victory.

It’s truly bizarre and unprecedented behavior for an FBI Director to display. If that wasn’t enough, The Atlantic recently revealed that Patel has engaged in frequent erratic behavior involving heavy drinking that has been interfering with his job.

Of course, a drunk-as-a-skunk FBI Director doesn’t exactly make America safe. It makes us more vulnerable. As it turns out, Republicans should have seen this coming and done something to prevent it by not confirming Patel in the first place.

Why? Because Patel has a history of alcoholism and drunken behavior, including an episode of public intoxication and urination that got him arrested in New York City.

“In February/March of 2005, some friends and I were out celebrating,” Patel said in the letter published by The Intercept. “We went to a few of the local bars and consumed some alcoholic beverages. At the end of the night, we decided to walk home. In a gross deviation from appropriate conduct, we attempted to relieve our bladders while walking home. Before we could even do so, a police cruiser stopped the group. We were then arrested for public urination. The outcome of this charge is as follows, fine levied and paid.”

At the time, Patel insisted that the incident was not representative of his behavior. But his behavior at the Olympics and the latest report clearly indicate that it’s absolutely representative of his behavior. And you just know that Republicans knew all along. Now we have a drunk heading up the FBI and a drunk heading up the Pentagon. Feel safe?
