WATCH: Cory Booker Lights Up Kash Patel Over Clown Show FBI Leadership

The so-called “Director” of the FBI, Kash Patel, got called to the rug at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, where Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) absolutely took him to the woodshed.

Patel’s “leadership” of the federal law enforcement agency has been reckless, as he has turned it into a persecution squad for Donald Trump that focuses more on protecting the wealthy, especially those named in the Epstein files, and intimidating journalists.

In addition, Patel has spent a lot of time and taxpayer money partying and using company cars and jets to impress his girlfriend.

Needless to say, our country is less secure because Patel is woefully unqualified for the job. On Tuesday, an annual review by the Senate Judiciary Committee did not go well for him because Booker was determined to hold him accountable, even if it meant speaking longer than the very brief time Republicans gave him to do it.

“We don’t have an FBI director. We have a lackey here,” Booker said. “And, frankly, he’s not even a good lackey. He’s an incompetent lackey. He’s like an 18-year-old kid who wants to join a fraternity that he could never be a member of, doing keg stands and chugging with friends. He’s an embarrassment to the agency and wouldn’t qualify even to be an FBI agent.”

Indeed, Patel demonstrated this perfectly when he went down to the locker room after the USA Men’s Hockey team won the gold medal at the Olympic Games to chug beers with them, something you won’t find any other FBI Director doing at any other time in our nation’s history.

“Frankly, he is a disgrace,” Booker continued. “It’s not just that we have a rogue FBI agent intimidating reporters. What’s bad is that we have Republicans in the Senate that are enabling him to go without any objective oversight, transparency, or accountability… We have a rogue agent intimidating the press, violating people’s First Amendment rights, and doing everything the president asks!”

Embarrassed by the truth, Patel begged Republicans to silence Booker by cutting his microphone, a request that was denied.

We have an incompetent fool at the helm of the FBI. The sooner he’s ousted, the better.
