Trump Has Bonkers Visit To Theodore Roosevelt Library

Donald Trump placed his dementia and obsession with the Medal of Honor on full display on Friday during a visit to the dedication of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in South Dakota.

In yet another embarrassing event as part of his vile “America 250” promotion, Trump visited the library, located near Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the Badlands region of South Dakota, and made a complete fool of himself as usual.

One of the first things Trump did during the visit was interact with an AI version of Roosevelt, which Trump apparently believed was a real conversation with the 26th President, who died in 1919, nearly 30 years before Trump was born.

“Every day a president faces storms most people never see, but if you keep your nerve and remember the nation comes first, you get through,” the Roosevelt hologram said. “I know you know that feeling yourself.”

Trump responded as if Roosevelt was really praising him.

“Well, I appreciate those words, those words are fantastic, and I just want to say it’s an honor to be with you today, and we are making a little bit of a tour, some of the fantastic things you’ve done,” Trump replied, going on to ask the hologram about the Panama Canal.

Trump would even later brag to an audience about having a conversation with Roosevelt even though it wasn’t real. But that wasn’t the only embarrassing part of the visit. When Trump viewed the Medal of Honor awards that Theodore Roosevelt and his son General Theodore Roosevelt, Jr. had earned for valor during the Spanish-American War and World War I, respectively, Trump once again mused about awarding it to himself. Only this time, he also mused about awarding it to his sons as well, twice.

While Trump claims to be “joking,” he has been particularly obsessed with obtaining honors that he has done nothing to earn, including the Medal of Honor, which is the nation’s highest honor for military valor.

Trump nor his sons have ever served in the military. Trump is a five-time draft dodger who used bone spurs as a made-up excuse to avoid serving during the Vietnam War. His words about the award only disgrace it, something Theodore Roosevelt would never have done and would very likely condemn if he were alive.

Maybe someone should ask AI Roosevelt about that.
