The courts ruled that Alina Habba is illegally serving as the US Attorney in New Jersey, so she is now “stepping down.” Social media users were quick to humiliate her on her way out the door.
Habba has been illegally in the US Attorney role since her interim 120-day term expired, violating the Federal Vacancies Reform Act in a brazen attempt to ignore the vital step of Senate confirmation.
Earlier this month, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Habba is illegally in the post. On Monday, Habba finally abdicated the position so the Federal courts can legitimately proceed with prosecutions.
Of course, Habba made it seem like she is voluntarily stepping down, writing in a social media post that she apparently intends to continue within the Justice Department as an “advisor” and went on to threaten the nation that she’s not done yet.
Just like FIFA creating a fake “peace prize” for Trump, a new job has been specially created for Habba so she can continue drawing a paycheck from the taxpayers and pretending she’s relevant. Social media users marked her departure accordingly with mockery.
Indeed, Habba definitely needs to change her social media bio. She should also consider changing her name and escaping the country, as the Nazis did after World War II, because there will come a day when she will be held accountable for aiding and abetting Trump and his many crimes.
