Trump Orders Military Takeover Of DC, Threatens Other Cities

Wannabe dictator Donald Trump officially ordered the United States military to invade Washington D.C. on Monday to take over the nation’s capital and threatened to do the same to other major American cities.

When Trump ordered the military to occupy Los Angeles earlier in the year, he did so in direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which restricts the federal government from using the military to enforce domestic policies. Protests broke out across the country, with an estimated 12 million Americans taking part in “No Kings” events.

Now, Trump has chosen his next target, Washington, D.C., which also happens to be another Democratic-controlled city. Using crime and homelessness as an excuse, despite the fact that statistics show crime at a 30-year low in the city, according to a Department of Justice report.

The FBI is already swarming the city, and the National Guard is not far behind, marching ever closer to a violation of the Home Rule Act of 1973 that gives DC residents control over who governs them. In this case, the mayor and city council members.

Trump doesn’t appear to want to stop with militarizing DC either. He took aim at additional Democratic-controlled cities in his authoritarian announcement.

“We have other cities that are very bad. New York has a problem. And then you have, of course, Baltimore and Oakland,” Trump said. “We’re not going to let it happen. We’re not going to lose our cities over this. This will go further. We’re starting very strongly with D.C. …If we need to, we’re going to do the same thing in Chicago, which is a disaster. We have a mayor there who is totally incompetent. He’s an incompetent man. And we have an incompetent governor there. [J.B.] Pritzker’s an incompetent. His family threw him out of the business, and he ran for governor.”

Trump is testing the waters to declare martial law ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Seizing and controlling American cities in Democratic strongholds to stay in power is right out of the Nazi playbook. Americans must fight back.
