Donald Trump apparently fantasizes about locking himself inside a bunker like his hero Adolf Hitler did, so he doesn’t have to leave the White House after his tyranny ends.
Despite it being unlawful, Trump’s minions on the Supreme Court gave him the green light to continue building the giant ballroom nobody in the country asked for. In addition, he’s also building a military bunker underneath the structure, even though the White House already has a perfectly safe bunker.
So, the question is, beyond his intention to build a useless ballroom that he’ll use to cater to the wealthy and stroke his own fragile ego, how does Trump intend to use the bunker?
Well, in a new interview with New York Magazine, Trump suggested he’ll lock himself inside so nobody can get to him and hold him accountable for his treason and various other crimes he has committed during his time in office.
“I tell you what, it would be awfully tough to get you out. Nobody would be able to get you out,” Trump boasted.
Assuming Trump doesn’t die before 2028, imagine that a Democrat has won the 2028 Election on a platform of holding Trump accountable. Instead of attending the Inauguration or fleeing the country, Trump decides to incite an insurrection, as he did before leaving office in January 2021.
Only this time, he’ll be gleefully watching the chaos unfold on the inside of his new bunker, from which he can order any civilian or military officials who are still sycophantically loyal to him to take actions to keep him in power, including the use of the drones he’s having installed on the roof.
The bunker isn’t just for security; it’s being built as an underground residence that he can lock himself inside of indefinitely to escape being held accountable, and where he can direct his followers to attack his political opponents and provide them with the support to do so.
It’s a diabolical scheme, and it’s time for Congress, the military, and the courts to take action to stop him.
