Michigan Dem Senate Candidate Humiliates JD Vance Ahead Of Campaign Visit

JD Vance is campaigning with former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich) on Monday, but Rogers’ opponent, Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, ruined the visit by absolutely humiliating him with the repetition of a rumor that Vance wishes would go away.

The Senate race in Michigan between El-Sayed and Rogers could determine which party controls the upper chamber in January. Thus far, it’s been a nasty race as Republicans have repeatedly hurled accusations of anti-semitism at El-Sayed and have even attacked his religious beliefs and his name.

Meanwhile, some Democrats have cowardly and traitorously joined Rogers’ camp because they disagree with El-Sayed’s progressive platform, which includes universal healthcare. The race will likely be close, so JD Vance is campaigning with Rogers on Monday.

But rather than watch the circus unfold quietly, El-Sayed went on the offensive by delivering remarks that drew laughs from the room.

You see, Vance is still trying to shake off a rumor spreading during the 2024 Election that he had sexual relations with his couch, a rumor that El-Sayed brought back in the form of a joke, wondering why Vance would visit Michigan since there are plenty of couches in Ohio, where Vance is from.

“Why would you invite JD Vance except for maybe you’ve got a Vance Bromance?” El-Sayed said. “I don’t know, questions about JD Vance are legion. We don’t have more couches here than they have in Ohio. So I’m just trying to figure out why he would come.”

It’s not exactly what Vance or Rogers wants Michigan voters thinking about or searching on Google for ahead of the campaign event. For the record, Vance has a wife and four children, much to the couch’s chagrin. The remarks clearly touched a nerve, too, because Vance attacked El-Sayed by calling him “evil” despite literally being orange Hitler’s sidekick in the White House.

He should have just stayed home with his couch.
