Russian TV Host Outed ‘Girlfriend Tulsi’ Gabbard As ‘Russian Agent’

As you are likely all too well aware by now, Donald Trump in his almost nonexistent wisdom, nominated Russian asset Tulsi Gabbard of all people as Director of National Security. Sure, Tulsi has spent years parroting Kremlin talking points uncritically and sure, when Hillary Clinton said that someone among the Democrats was a Russian asset without naming her, she sued Clinton. But she can handle the job, right? Trump sure thinks so. So does Russia.

Gabbard, a huge fan of Putin and Assad, blames NATO for Putin’s assault on the Ukraine and has parroted some rather insane conspiracy theories often pushed by Russian bots — including that the United States has secret bioweapons labs in Ukraine. She has zero experience that would cause any reasonable person to think she is remotely prepared for the job. In fact, Tulsi so cluelessly parrots Russian propaganda that in 2022 her hard work on behalf of Putin was recognized by Russian TV host Vladimir Soloviev, who called her “our girlfriend Tulsi.”

In the clip, Gabbard accuses Biden of using Ukraine to bring about “regime change” in Russia — a talking point that was spread across social media at the time by Russian bots in the middle of the night.

 “President Biden just said out loud what the aims and objectives of his administration’s policies are, which is regime change in Russia, to get Putin out of power. They are doing so through using the primary weapons of economic warfare,” she said at the time. “They are doing so by waging this modern-day siege against Russia, isolating, containing, destroying their economy, starving the Russian people in the hope that the Russian people or the military will rise up and revolt and overthrow their government, and get rid of Putin.”

After the clip plays, a panelist asks, “Is she some sort of Russian agent?” The host replies “Yes.”

Tulsi Gabbard is a bunch of red flags clumsily sewn into the shape of a person on a good day. If she is confirmed as Director of National Intelligence, she represents a threat unlike our country has seen in quite some time. But she’s not the only one. Trump’s appointments have been complete disasters. His potential incoming defense secretary thinks women don’t belong in combat roles in the military. And then there’s underage sex trafficker Matt Gaetz, one of the few potential Trump appointees potentially more dangerous than Tulsi. The next four years are going to be horrible, aren’t they?
